Tucked away in the lush green surroundings of the Film City area in Goregaon, the Conservation Education Centre (CEC) of BNHS offers a rare chance to experience a forest ecosystem right within Mumbai. This protected forest landscape was given by the Government of Maharashtra to the Bombay Natural History Society (BNHS) as a token of gratitude for over 100 years of dedicated service in conservation and environmental education.

With the aura of the primitive jungles that once covered our city, this forest is a thriving natural habitat and a wonderful space where both children and adults can slow down, observe, and connect with nature in a meaningful way.
